Which Jesus is coming again?

Good morning,

Last week was a very special week in the history of the modern world.  Even though speakers in government settings in America dare not mention the name Jesus Christ, one of the key speakers in the United Nations General Assembly mentioned the name of Jesus Christ again and again.  When speaking to Jewish people about the coming of the Messiah, it is unthinkable for us to link the Messiah and Jesus Christ in the same sentence yet this same speaker linked their Mahdi (Messiah, the Twelfth Imam) to Jesus Christ as his deputy.  In a speech that attacked both Israel and the United States, the Iranian President laid out a future for the world that would make their religion the source of peace on earth.  It’s fascinating to watch as religious and political leaders create their own realities to give acceptance to their plans to carry out their rebellion to the God of the Bible.  It happened in Bible times as well.  Aaron made a calf and declared that this golden idol was the God who led them out of Egypt.  The new king of the 10 tribes that broke away from Judah did the same thing.

Paul pointed out this same kind of rebellion in his day when writing to the Philippians.  He was weeping as he wrote about the many who claimed loyalty to God yet whose conduct proved that they were really enemies of the Christ that God had sent to pay for the sins of all mankind.  Those of us who are genuine children of the King of kings know better than to believe the lies that are being told in “Jesus name.”  Jesus is the Messiah, not the deputy of some other religious leader.  The Jesus of the Bible is coming back as our Savior and will take us home to our eternal country, Heaven.  The freedom that comes with God’s control here on earth will not be brought about by haters, but will be brought about by God dealing with those who refuse to come to him for forgiveness and salvation.  The Jesus of the Bible is also the King of kings and the Lord of lords who will bring all things under his control for the glory of the Lord God Almighty.  Let’s hang on to the Jesus of the cross while he carries out the plans he made before time began.  Never Give Up.  Jesus is coming again.

Philippians 3:18 --- that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ.
20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
