Good morning,
Last week we saw another step falling into place as God prepares the way for the war against his chosen people. The leaders of our world’s governments have voted unanimously to censure Israel for not following the rules that they have made for this free nation. Even the leaders of the United States have turned against Israel in an underhanded way as part of a wicked plan to isolate and control God’s special people. I find it exciting that God is letting us see the process that he is allowing so that we will be able to watch him fulfill all the promises that he has made to his people based on his perfect plan for time and eternity. Even as we watch, we see the people who claim to be the brightest and the strongest falling into a trap of their own making. Solomon said it well when he wrote, Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words.(Ecc.10:12) Their wisdom is based on the hate and anger of our Enemy, but our God knows how this will lead to the end of their dreams and unleash the powerful unstoppable power that he will pour out on them when the right time comes for their destruction.
We know that God has clearly guaranteed the coming importance of Israel in his master plan for the world. We look forward to all the promises of Ezekiel 38 and 39 that describes in very clear detail what God will do to the armies that will be against Israel. They will come marching from the North and East and the South only to be totally destroyed by God’s heavenly forces. God’s enemies may have the latest weapons of war and the most powerful computer directed plans, but what are these against the power of the God who can render them all useless just by saying a single word. Solomon was right again when he wrote, Fools base their thoughts on foolish assumptions, so their conclusions will be wicked madness;(Ecc.10:13) The number of enemies that have tried to destroy God’s people and defeat the Lord of Heavens Armies has never been a game changer in all the times it has been tried before. You see, no amount to planning or power on a human level can ever change the perfect plans that God put in place before he spoke the world into existence. What’s better yet, in the middle of all these futile Enemy plans, Our Savior and Lord has given each of his children his Holy Spirit to live in us and give us his powerful Love and Joy and Peace that allows us to focus on listening to his voice and carry out his holy plans. Our God Reigns. Dear Lord, would you please help us to stay focused on you, the Way, the Truth and the Life instead of the fears that are boiling all around us.
